League of Legends 13.19 Patch Notes Breakdown

Table of Contents

In this article, we will be breaking down the most significant changes in the 13.19 patch for League of Legends, focusing on those that alter gameplay to the greatest extent. The patch introduces a variety of changes to champions, items, and behavioral systems, as well as adjustments to ARAM.

Champion Changes

Among the champions receiving changes, one of the most notable is Briar. Her attack speed growth has been decreased, and her W healing also sees a reduction. However, her damage against minions and monsters has been increased, although the maximum percent health damage against these opponents has been decreased.

Lee Sin has received a boost with an increase in base armor and improvements to his W lifesteal and spell vamp, as well as an increase in E magic damage. Similarly, Lissandra's W root duration has been increased, providing more control in team fights.

Azir experiences a nerf with an increase in his Q cooldown, potentially affecting his poke and wave clear efficiency. Renekton also sees a nerf with a decrease in base magic resistance.

Other champions receiving changes include Galio, Gangplank, Jhin, LeBlanc, Nunu & Willump, Pyke, Rek'Sai, Syndra, Twitch, and Zeri.

Item Changes

The patch also introduces changes to some items. The total cost of Randuin's Omen has been decreased, making it a more accessible option for those needing to stack armor and slow down enemies. Seeker's Armguard sees an increase in armor, providing more resistance to AD threats.

The electroshock damage to minions by Statikk Shiv has been decreased. This change might affect its viability as a farming tool, pushing players to consider other options for wave clear and farming.

ARAM Adjustments

The 13.19 patch introduces several adjustments for ARAM. Briar receives a buff in this mode, while Galio, Kennen, and Taliyah have been nerfed. These changes are likely to shift the meta slightly in ARAM, with players needing to rethink their champion selection and strategies.

Behavioral Systems

The 13.19 patch introduces ranked restrictions as penalties for disruptive behavior. Players who display toxic behavior can now be restricted from participating in ranked games. However, these restrictions can be cleared by playing five games of non-ranked modes, giving players a chance to improve their behavior.

Ping Adjustments

The patch also brings changes to the ping system. Pinging allied information on the tab scoreboard and UI will now only display to the pinger. However, pinging own information in the scoreboard will still ping to allies, as will pinging neutral and enemy information.

Overall, the 13.19 patch introduces a variety of changes that will likely affect gameplay significantly. Players will need to adjust their strategies, champion selection, and item builds to adapt to these changes. The introduction of behavioral penalties also sends a strong message about the importance of maintaining a positive community in League of Legends.
